Why I am not a lawyer
Yes, I went to law school. Yes, I passed a bar exam. But I am not a lawyer. Lawyers start out as associates, and that is a life I suspect I would loathe with every fiber of my being. It has its perks (being able to pay the bills and the possibility of an interesting case among them), but in the end I prefer to be able to sometimes go home and not answer the phone.If I were a lawyer, I hope that I would write a blog like this one. (Yep, this was all a long lead-in for yet another blog you ought to read. You'd think you'd be used to it by now.) I'm linking to it today because there's a recent post about the law school application process. If only someone had sat me down before I applied and explained the rules.
